The City Council appointed Councilmember Baca-Santa Cruz as Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Moreno Valley!

The City Council appointed new commissioners to start serving the City of Moreno Valley! Congratulations to everyone appointed!

The City Council discussed developing a regional sports complex in Moreno Valley.

The City Council discussed adding another day of Badminton to the open play schedule and creating a Badminton tournament.

• Council member Barnard recommended that the City Council table the vote until the item is brought up through the proper channels.
  • This includes bringing it to the Parks, Community Services, and Trails Committee.

The City Council authorized a lease agreement and professional services agreement in order to create an Interactive Museum in the City of Moreno Valley! If created, it will be in the Moreno Valley Mall where Sears used to be.

The City Council appointed Brian Mohan as the City Manager! He has served previously as Chief Financial Officer and Assistant City Manager (Administration). He has also most-recently served as Acting-City Manager after Mike Lee retired.

The City Council tabled Regional Commission/Committee/Board reports as the meeting was getting late.
